Yes, it is! However, with all the political headlines coming out of Turkey, many have voiced fear about their safety if they visit Antalya. According to reports, the regions of worry are in other parts of Turkey where there are political “hot spots,” but not near Antalya. Any assaults that occur are more concentrated in Turkey’s central and northern regions.

Absolutely! Many historical events occurred in this region, resulting in historical landmarks like Hadrian’s Gate, Kaleici, and Perge City, among others. Antalya is one of Turkey’s top two tourist destinations, drawing visitors from all over the world.

Antalya’s spring season lasts from March to May, while its fall season lasts from September to November. Since the rest of the year is hot and dry, and the winters are quite humid, this is the greatest time to visit Antalya.

We conducted a poll of persons who had previously visited Antalya. The end consequence is three days. So here is a three-day travel schedule for you.

Antalya Muzesi

Translated as “Antalya Museum.” It is Turkey’s largest museum, with approximately 12,000 objects on display. I said in the previous paragraph that this region is OLD, and it’s fascinating to see how people lived back then.

Old City Marina

This is located just close to Kaleici on the Mediterranean. Fishermen will be returning from the sea with their daily catches. There are also large yachts, so the variety in this region is remarkable.

Antalya Aquarium

Antalya has an aquarium since it is situated adjacent to the sea, and it does! With a length of 131 meters and a diameter of 3 meters, the Antalya Aquarium is the world’s largest tunnel aquarium. Its 40 tanks and tunnel aquarium hold a remarkable variety of animals. The dolphins are our favorites… we like dolphins.

It also boasts a Snow World and Ice Museum where visitors may have snowball battles no matter how hot it is outdoors.

Hadrian’s Gate

Hadrian’s Gate is a magnificent medieval ruin dating from 130 AD. It was erected to commemorate the arrival of the Roman Emperor Hadrian the same year. It is also one of Kaleici’s main entrances.

Antalya’s Bazaar

Visit the Bazaar if you want to experience Turkish life in action. It’s a vibrant and pungent market where sellers sell everything Turkish. You may select from a wide range of food, clothing, and crafts. The merchants want you to “bargain” or negotiate, so go for it and obtain the best deal possible.

The two most desired places to live in Antalya are Lara Beach and Konyaalti Beach.

Antalya has various “child or family-friendly” places, including several resorts. The local aquarium, water parks, and even a toy museum will keep your youngsters entertained.

Finally, you should make plans to visit Antalya in 2023. It features an intriguing blend of current and historical elements. You may learn about the history of the many times in Kaleici, Perge, Kaleici, and Hadrian’s Gate, and then visit the Aquarium to observe the fishes. Go to the mall to “shop” and then, if you still have energy, conclude the evening at one of the different pubs and restaurants.

The best of the mountains are to the west and south, while the Mediterranean Sea is to the south. The vistas are breathtaking! There are so many options, and there is something for everyone, especially the children. Antalyans are so kind that tourists are treated as if they were locals. The population is made up of both native-born locals and ex-pats who have fallen in love with the location. It has a low crime rate and will make you feel safe. It’s a circumstance where everyone wins.
